My May Moneta

My May Moneta

Well hello!!

Have you been sewing much?  I spent my birthday sewing all the things for ME! I made a great and successful effort since my last birthday to sew for myself more often throughout the year. So this year felt a little less like I was breaking a rule and more normal. I was also more productive (but mainly because I focused on garments I've sewn before- one was printed by Sprout which aids the cutting process and one cut out the week before-chipping away at the work!). I'm late with this last post because I never managed to get a pic of me in my Moneta beyond this odd selfie.

How are your Monetas and Amelias coming along? I hope you'll share! And if you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Here's a close up of my neck- REMEMBER! I scooped my front neck down about 2" I am not a fan of my front neck being higher than the back neck. I'm just too busty for that and find a scoop more flattering. And to tell the front from the back I always tack something in the back- like this wee piece of ribbon.

Maybe I'll keep tackling some straightforward and cute patterns for Streamline Sewing.

Please tag me on Instagram and show me your makes. #ChickenBootsUSA

Happy sewing!
